Teens ages 15–19 are eligible to apply for a week-long paid internship offered during fall intersession, Oct. 10–14, at The Kohala Center’s Demonstration Farm in Honokaa.

Teens ages 15–19 are eligible to apply for a week-long paid internship offered during fall intersession, Oct. 10–14, at The Kohala Center’s Demonstration Farm in Honokaa.

From 8 a.m.–4 p.m., Monday through Friday, high school students and recent grads will learn how to grow their own food, take field trips to Big Island farms and ranches, and experience traditional Hawaiian land management systems.

The deadline to apply is Sept. 30.
